Hotels with a Kaaba view · Makkah

Not “near the Haram”, not a city-view room dressed up. Every hotel here but one sells a Kaaba-facing room as a real, bookable category, from a full Kaaba view in the Clock Tower to a partial Kaaba view in the Jabal Omar towers and on Ajyad. Each card shows tonight’s lowest rate for that room next to the cheapest room at the same hotel, so you can see the view premium, and you book it here at a live price. The exception, tagged “Kaaba view on request”, has Kaaba-facing rooms it doesn’t sell as a category, so ask for one at check-in.

There are dozens of hotels around the Grand Mosque, and most of the ones sold as a Kaaba view or Haram view hotel keep far more rooms that have neither. This is the Kaaba-view short list. Eleven hotels, in the Abraj Al Bait complex under the Clock Tower, in the Jabal Omar towers, and in the Al Safwah towers on Ajyad, where a room that genuinely faces the Kaaba, in full or in part, is a real, bookable category. Each card shows the lowest nightly rate we have for that hotel in USD. Open a Kaaba-view listing to see the view rate next to the cheapest room at the same hotel, and to price your own dates and party size.

Why book with us

Made by pilgrims, for pilgrims.

  • Instantly confirmed, directly with the hotel

Pay and your room is booked with the hotel in real time. Your confirmation and the hotel’s own confirmation number reach your inbox in seconds. Nothing pending, nothing to chase.

  • Muslim-owned, pilgrim-run

Built by people who make the journey every year and have booked Umrah trips for hundreds of pilgrims offline. We know what a 200-metre walk means at Fajr, and we list hotels the way a pilgrim would choose them.

  • Cheaper than travel sites

We work on a thin margin and negotiate hard with our hotel partners, so the saving reaches you. Don’t take our word for it: open the same room for the same dates on any big travel site and compare.

  • Real Kaaba views, verified

"Kaaba view" is not a hotel slogan here. Every room we badge is checked against the hotel’s own room inventory, so the view you pay for is the view you get.

  • 2% of profits to Muslim causes

Every booking supports causes we choose with care. Your stay in the Holy Cities gives back beyond it.

  • Chat with us

Questions before you book, or plans change before Umrah? Message us by email or chat. Real people, in Arabic, Urdu and English.

How the Kaaba view room prices stay current

Rates in Makkah move a lot. They climb through Ramadan, the Hajj season and school holidays, and fall in the quiet weeks between, and they can shift within a single day as rooms sell. We re-pull the lowest available Kaaba-view rate for each hotel on this page from live hotel inventory, and update the figure on the card each time. So the price you see is tonight’s entry point for that room right now, not a historical average or a headline teaser. New to booking a Kaaba-view room? Start with the booking guide.

That figure is still a starting point. The moment you enter real dates, a longer stay, more guests or a specific floor, the price recalculates, and Ramadan or Hajj dates will read much higher. Whatever shows when you check availability in the booking box is the real price for your booking.

Next to each Kaaba-view rate we also show the cheapest room of any view at that same hotel , a city-view, tower-view or courtyard room with no direct line to the Kaaba. That second figure is the gap you pay for the view; at some hotels it is under half the Kaaba-view rate. If the view is not the priority, open the listing and compare the room types before you book.

Every rate we have recorded is on the price history page. You book directly on each hotel’s page here, and payment is processed securely. Our price includes a small service fee, and it does not change which hotels we list or the order they appear in.

Frequently asked questions

Is my booking confirmed instantly?
Yes. The moment your card payment goes through, the room is booked with the hotel in real time. You land on a confirmation page and get an email within seconds, with your booking reference and the hotel’s own confirmation number. There is no approval step and no waiting for us to get back to you.
Are you a travel agent? Who am I actually booking with?
We are a small booking site run by Muslims who make the journey every year. The reservation is made with the hotel itself, from its live inventory, and your stay is with the hotel, not with us. You can quote the hotel confirmation number at the front desk like any direct booking.
Is it safe to pay on this site?
Card payments are processed by Stripe, which is PCI-compliant. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers, and the total is re-confirmed live just before you pay.
Is the price really lower than other sites?
Most of the time, yes, and you do not have to take our word for it. Open the same room for the same dates on any big travel site and compare. The price we show is the all-in total with taxes included and nothing added at payment.
Will I get the Kaaba view I am paying for?
A gold Kaaba badge is given only to rooms the hotel itself sells as a Kaaba-view category, never hand-tagged. The exact floor and room are assigned by the hotel at check-in, so a high-floor request helps. Our booking guide explains what each label means.
Can I reach a real person before I book?
Yes. Email [email protected] and a real person replies, in English, Arabic or Urdu.
Which Makkah hotels actually have a Kaaba view room?
Eleven do it for real, in three clusters: Fairmont Makkah Clock Royal Tower, Movenpick Hotel & Residence Hajar Tower, Pullman ZamZam Makkah, Swissotel Al Maqam Makkah, Swissôtel Makkah, Al Marwa Rayhaan by Rotana and Raffles Makkah Palace in the Abraj Al Bait / Clock Tower complex; Conrad Makkah, Hilton Suites Makkah and Jabal Omar Hyatt Regency Makkah in the Jabal Omar towers; and Al Safwah Orchid on Ajyad, facing the King Abdulaziz Gate. Each sells a Kaaba-facing room as a named, bookable category, not just a hotel marketed as "near the Haram." The list above shows tonight’s lowest rate for that room at every one; the booking guide below explains how full and partial Kaaba views differ.
What’s the closest hotel to the Kaaba with a room that overlooks it?
Fairmont Makkah Clock Royal Tower. Its upper Kaaba-side floors sit almost directly above the mosque and look down onto the mataf, one of the closest room views to the Kaaba anywhere in the city. If you want the widest partial view instead, Raffles Makkah Palace, near the top of the same complex, sees more of the piazza from further back.
Does Hilton Suites Makkah have Kaaba view rooms?
Yes. Hilton Suites Makkah is in the Jabal Omar district, and its Junior Suite, Partial Kaaba View category faces the mosque, but only from the higher, mosque-facing floors; a low floor or the wrong side looks at the district instead. See its current rate and photos on the Hilton Suites Makkah page.
Are "Kaaba view hotels in Mecca" the same as the ones in Makkah?
Yes, Mecca and Makkah are the same city; Mecca is the older English spelling, and Makkah is the transliteration used on this site and by the hotels themselves. All eleven Kaaba-view hotels above are in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and every one turns up whichever spelling you search.
Is the "Clock Tower Hotel" the same as Fairmont Makkah Clock Royal Tower?
Yes. "Clock Tower Hotel" and "Royal Clock Tower Hotel" are what most guests type when searching, but the full name of the property is Fairmont Makkah Clock Royal Tower, it occupies the upper floors of the Clock Tower itself, the tallest building in the Abraj Al Bait complex beside the Grand Mosque. Movenpick Hotel & Residence Hajar Tower, Pullman ZamZam Makkah, Swissotel Al Maqam Makkah and Raffles Makkah Palace are separate towers in the same complex, not the Clock Tower building.
Which Madinah hotels are closest to the Prophet’s Mosque?
The Haram-area group above, Pullman Zamzam Madina, Anwar Al Madinah Mövenpick, The Oberoi Madina and the InterContinentals, sits in the central zone by the Prophet’s Mosque. Open any of them and search live availability to price a mosque-facing room for your dates.
